The Hair

The longer his hair grew,
the better he did in everything,
no one knew quite why,
maybe it is because it
gave him more feeling.

His lips are chapped and broken,
but he still does well,
no one knows,
could it be the hair?

He played his trumpet proud,
and had no trouble in school,
I guess he just
let his emotions flow;
or could it be the hair.
