Strive

I strive to complete the American Dream.
The dream to become great.
Easy at first it seems,
but of late,
it becomes hard.

I strive to get the grades,
that would propel me on my way,
but these long days,
get wary,
and hard.

I strive to make the puzzle whole,
and have not been able to do so.
So please, give me the tool,
that will make it easier to do,
and not so hard.

I strive to fulfill this dream,
but in the end,
it doesn?t seem,
to matter, as ten ?
more ? days go by.
