Runners

Runners never quit,
they just keep running.
I don't know why,
they just do.

Maybe for their team,
maybe for you.
Through the Mud and Rain,
creeks and Wind,

Runners never quit,
they just keep running.

Through Pain and Sorrow,
they run just as yesterday,
just as they will tomorrow.
Fun when they are done,
maybe that's why,
but as it is. . .

Runners never quit,
they just keep running.
On and on they go,
until the day is over.
