My dear Brother,
At another place, another
Time. Life has been
Tiresome and slow – boring, with
Hours of emptiness and quite in your
Expeditionary absence
With another who always stands by you.

Please tell me,
Explain to me what
Long journey you had to take
Out of state, beyond state and state.
Quiet is all I get on my work.
Unless its Animal Farm they sing about.
In peace I pray that all is well with you,
Now I must get back to my studies, to join others.
