Heart and Pain
2005-03-23

There is such heart where pain lies,
in such sorrow is such joy.
The mind keeps on going,
even when the body stops.

There is such fight in you,
when you know your down.
It is when you can't do it,
that you understand how lucky

you were to do it in the first.
You keep on moving,
at least in you mind.
Emotion still flows, pain.

You want to compete,
to practice, to finish.
From this pain grows
a greater push. A struggle.

A heart aches to run,
you feel that pain.
Yet, in pain comes joy.
Such exuberant joy.
