The thougts of Mr. James Oakley Stewart
And now the new beginning is coming your way, I think
september 6th, 2007
although now one has specially requested, in the near future, given the proper amount of time that
i have to free and use, the whole poetry portion of the site will be going through an overhaul. the
poems will now be listed in year categories instead off all on the front page, and proper directions
will be listed as how to properly download each poem. the colors for now will stay the same, unless a
large majority of viewers decides that they need to be changed, which reminds me, no one ever emails me; i
like to be emailed. anyhow, it seems that tonight’s open mic has found me well enough. hopefully the
changes won’t take too long, but be prepared for a few bumps along the way.

Color Changes?, New Poems, The Underground
december 4th, 2006
Now I know how it feels to have a journal page. I understand why it takes so long for artists
to update their journals, unless that is their full time job, they must spend time on other
activities. I am comptenpleting changing the colors around on the site, if you have any ideas
or suggestions about that, email me. There are a few more poems up, a couple that are pretty good
and one I wrote for a friend, one of the first times I've strayed from my own thoughts to write
something for someone in about 5 years. it felt kinda good but i don't think it came out as good
as I would have liked it to. That however remains to be seen. I did finally launch my podcast
under the name The Underground, you can find it in iTunes and many other places. the new image
is a link to the homepage of the underground. three episodes up now, and hopefully more to come,
although it might be hard to get material over break. we shall see. break starts in about five
days, and after that it is five weeks at home. home, i like the sound of that right about now.
whatever

New Poems, Possible Changes
november 6th, 2006
Whoa, its been a long time since I've made a journal post. Well mostly, I've been writting
somewhat more than usual this fall, and a lot of what I have been writing is longer and in
some ways more powerful and more abstract than anything that I've done yet. I just wanted
to also state that there may be more changes coming to the website soon, however, nothing has
been set in stone yet. Also, I am working on launching a podcast for music, poetry, and prose
from college students, as well as including some of my own work. More on that to follow. For
now I must do homework and get rest, I think I might have a troat infection.

Updates of Site and thought
august 17th, 2006
It seems that I will have to do more work than I thought it would take to get everything
up and running again, but hopefully I can get it done soon.
It seems anymore that my poetry is no longer just a part of myself but also a part
of the life and the people around me. Sharing my poetry has opened up many doors into
a world of poetry that I had not gained access into before. Its not just me anymore,
It is about everything in my life, including others.

Re-Vamped
august 15th, 2006
It has been a long time since I have done any real work for the site, but a little
while back the site went through a complete overhaul. Instead of using a table format
and seperate pages for each poem, I use a database system that genterates the links for
the poems in their text form as well as the mp3 form. However, I need to rename all fo the
mp3 files, which will take time, so they really don't work right now. The intro about me
is now of the first page, and the second is the three links and the poems themselves, and
I plan to leave it in this form for now. Thanks again for visiting the site, and I hope
that you enjoy my poems. PS Please be patient for the mp3s, I'm back at college now and
it might take a couple weeks to get everything update the rest of the way.
